With science, it turns out that night owls have an internal clock that functions differently and from forcing these night owls to wake up early could bring on some serious health consequences.
The circadian rhythm is not the same for everyone, and there’s a name to this phenomenon! It is called social jetlag. Many companies and businesses start early in the day but research tells us that about a third of the population considers themselves as night owls. Luckily, the circadian rhythm isn’t set in stone so you can slowly adjust your internal clock by soaking up more light in the morning.
