Fixing Anterior Pelvic Tilt | Routine and Tips

Anterior pelvic tilt is when the posture of the hips and pelvis are rotated forward while the back of the pelvis rises. This is usually caused by excessive sitting or a lack of physical activity. The spine in the area can lead to other symptoms in the future if this condition is not corrected.

Poor posture, in general, can cause other problems in the future. The exaggerated curvature can cause back and hip pain. To decrease the amount of tilt, you would need to train your lower abdominal muscles and lower back muscles in order to restore strength and balance.

Watch the video below to see what exercises you can do to help train those muscles! Outside of this routine, you should ensure proper posture, especially when sitting to keep your progress up. And when you have the chance, take regular breaks that involve walking around or stretching.
